I just re-watched Ip Man 2 with Charmaine & Family. And again I find the above statement by "Ip Man" in the movie after battling down the British Boxing Champion - 'The Twister', very meaningful and inspiring.
Translated into English, it simply means:-
" I did not come here today to prove which is better - Chinese Kung Fu or Western Boxing.
And although people have different status in life, I do not believe that one person's integrity is worth more than another's. Hence from this moment on, I hope that we can start learning how to respect each other."
