It's our 1st year anniversary today...
19th October 2009!
How time seems to fly in a blink of an eye!
It was like just yesterday when I saw this tall and pretty Ngee Ann girl with her cheeks flushed (from the hot sun) at Kallang SDBA, hanging out with her bunch of dragonboat ladies, resting before their double training session in the afternoon...
Then before you know it,
We got into a "stalker stalking the stalked" comical situation, that seemingly grew out of proportion...
We officially became friends on Friendster...
We exchanged our e-mail addresses & started chit-chatting on MSN...
A few days later after that,
We had our first "date" at Serangoon Gardens' Coffee Bean, watching "10,000 B.C." on my laptop...
And we started going out more often...
Finally we got together.
And tonight we celebrate our 1st year anniversary together...
on 19th October 2009...
We had our dinner at a casual Japanese restaurant called "WATAMI" @ The Central.
The service was remarkably good & the staffs were very friendly.
We asked for an window side seat & we got one with a good view of the Singapore River.
Decor of the place was also pretty well done up...
Food came in a wide variety... and was delicious too!
We ordered a side dish - Crab Meat & Scallop Cream Croquette, together with a main dish each - a bowl of Chashu Ramen & a Sliced Beef Hot pot with Assorted Vegetables. Finally, ending off with a Choco Banana Parfait dessert! Yummy~~!!! Hehe
And the price was fairly reasonable too! A MUST TRY for you folks out there... =)
We had so much fun during the dinner, that I felt like we had fallen in love all over again! hAhA
After the wonderful dinner, we went walking around inside the shopping centre until it was time for the shops to close. And then we went out to find a space to sit along the Singapore River bank, enjoying the night scenery & lighting all around...
We had a H2H talk... and exchanged presents. Actually it was more of passing me my present.
I had actually already hid her present in one of her wardrobe cabinets two weeks ago, only to SMS her at 12 midnight the night before to tell her that she can start looking for her anniversary gift then. What a surprise right, baby? HAHAHA... *wink
Her gift? A SOLVIL TITUS watch that she had her fancy on for a long time...
My gift? A new leather wallet from BRAUN BUFFEL to replace my old, worn-out wallet. Plus some love letters for me... hAhAhA
